Comic Club

The Blackbird Comic Club is a fun club where students can learn the basics of developing their own characters and comic strips. 

When:

Tuesdays

March 12, 19, 26

April 9

Where:

Voorheesville Elementary School Library

3:10pm - 4:00pm

Pick up:

Please arrive promptly at 4:00pm 

Kids Club:

They will be brought downstairs and checked in. Please notify blackbirdscomicclub@gmail.com if they are in Kids Club.

Parent volunteers:

If you are interested in volunteering, please notify blackbirdscomicclub@gmail.com. You do not need to be available for all four sessions, (nor know anything about comics) even volunteering for one session would be helpful since we have a large group.

• There is no food or drink allowed in the library. Please plan accordingly and if your child generally comes home from school hungry, perhaps an extra snack at lunchtime would be beneficial.

• If siblings were signed up, they are both in these sessions.

A big thank you to Chairperson Jessica Burns for supporting the club in its first season.  We look forward to seeing all the great comic strips on display at the end of the session!
